1. Who we are
Isikolo ("Isikolo", "we", "us") operates the website isikolo.co and the web application isikolo.app, a mobile-first platform for online video courses. You can contact us at ben@isikolo.co.
2. What Isikolo sells
Isikolo sells access to digital educational content (video courses, lessons and live classes). Course content is created by independent educators and licensed to Isikolo under content licence agreements. Isikolo is the seller of the products offered through the app. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), which handles checkout, payment, taxes and billing support. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to purchase courses. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Purchases and access
Course purchases are one-time payments granting a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to stream the purchased content through the Isikolo app for as long as the course remains available on the platform. Purchases do not transfer ownership of any content. Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency where supported.
5. Refunds
Our refund policy is available at isikolo.app/legal/refunds.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, download, re-distribute, resell or publicly screen course content.
- Do not share account access to circumvent purchases.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content, or content you do not have rights to.
- Do not interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
7. Educator content
Educators who license content to Isikolo do so under a separate Content Licence Agreement. Educators retain ownership of their content and warrant that they hold all necessary rights to it. If you believe content on Isikolo infringes your rights, contact ben@isikolo.co and we will review promptly.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Courses are provided for general educational purposes and do not constitute professional advice. The platform is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under consumer protection law applicable in your country of residence (including the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, where applicable).
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
